HEALTH Insurance for EUROPEAN CITIZEN

Are you a European citizen? Before your arrival in France, please make sure you have the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). 

In addition to the EHIC, we encourage you to take out travel insurance (hospitalization, repatriation, etc.)

HEALTH Insurance for NON-EUROPEAN CITIZEN

Are you a non-European national? As soon as you arrive in France, you must register for the French Health Insurance Plan (AMELI): https://etudiant-etranger.ameli.fr/#/ 

Finally, it is strongly recommended that you take out travel insurance (hospitalization, repatriation, etc.) in your country of origin and before your arrival in France.

Room Insurance

All housing must be insured against possible risks (flood, fire, etc.) The Crédit Mutuel bank offers housing and civil liability insurance for an annual fee of 80€. Find more information here.

Banking Services

All students living in the Escale Ouest residences (Rivoli or Arago) must open a bank account in France. 

The ICES International Office is working in close collaboration with the Banque Crédit Mutuel Océan in La Roche-sur-Yon and thus facilitates the paperworks before your arrival in France.
