The time for new international academic mobility experiences has arrived at ICES!
Internationalization: A strategic sillar of the Catholic University of Vendée
International openness is a key strategic priority at ICES. The university relies on a network of more than 150 partners worldwide, enabling approximately 230 students to take part in academic mobility abroad each year.
These long-standing partnerships contribute fully to the quality of the degree offered and to the university’s international attractiveness, while fostering students’ academic, cultural, and personal development.
Personalized Support at the Heart of Successful Mobility
The success of mobility projects is built on continuous, individualized support provided jointly by academic teams and administrative staff. This guidance allows students to prepare with confidence for the academic, cultural, and personal challenges associated with an international experience.
An Event Dedicated to Upcoming Departures
In this context, the International Relations Office organized on Thursday, November 27th 2025 an informational event for the 180 students departing for international mobility during the Spring semester 2026. These students will complete their academic exchange in 76 partner universities across 35 countries.
The program included:
- Tips on how to adapt to changing environments and develop resilience;
- Briefing on intercultural awareness, which was already delivered to students following degrees with mandatory departure;
- Testimonials from students who already completed a mobility experience the previous year, with sharing of detailed feedback, practical advices, and best practices.
Promoting International Exchanges and Partnerships
The event also provided an opportunity to thank all the international students who followed courses at ICES during the Fall semester 2025, and to wish them every success in their exams, and an excellent return to their home universities.
The evening concluded with a dinner cocktail reception, encouraging informal exchanges between students, university staff, and international relations stakeholders, in a spirit of conviviality and shared experience.
