The EAIE (European Association for International Education) is Europe’s largest gathering dedicated to the internationalization of higher education. ICES’s International Relations Office participated in its annual conference from September 8th to 11th, 2026, at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) in Glasgow, alongside more than 7,300 professionals from over 100 countries.
A Highlight for ICES’s International Relations
For participating universities, the EAIE represents a strategic opportunity to strengthen their international networks, develop new cooperation agreements, and promote their mobility programs.
As part of this effort, the Head of ICES’s International Relations Office, Mr. Matthieu BRECVILLE, and his colleague, Ms. Laura BOTTEREAU, initiated contacts with potential partner universities and laid the groundwork for future partnerships in various regions of the world (England, Argentina, Egypt, Lebanon).
This event also provided an opportunity to strengthen ICES’s relationships with its existing partners, including Universidad Santa Fe (Argentina), Anahuac Veracruz (Mexico), Anahuac Cancun (Mexico), UQAC (Quebec), UQTR (Quebec), Notre Dame De Louaize (Lebanon), Lebanese American University (Lebanon), University of Silesia in Katowice (Poland), SWPS (Poland), Palacky University (Czech Republic), the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), the University of Jaén (Spain), the University of Navarra (Spain), Mary Immaculate College (Ireland), West University of Timisoara (Romania), University of Zadar (Croatia), Catholic University of Korea (South Korea), Myongji University (South Korea), Chonnam University (South Korea).
